How do I set availability for booking calls?
Availability controls when booking calls can be offered. Workspace admins can set general availability and later connect team calendars for more accurate booking windows.
General availability
- Set the days and times that calls may be booked.
- Keep the availability broad enough for clients to find a time but narrow enough to protect non-call work.
Team availability
- When multiple team members handle calls, each person can have their own availability rules.
- Workspace admins can use priority, random assignment, or event-specific assignment rules as the booking system expands.
Planning-call handoff
- For planning calls, the assigned staff member may be the preferred call owner when the workspace workflow expects the event staff to handle client planning.

Appointment-type schedules
Each active booking type can use its own availability instead of the workspace default. This is useful when planning calls, consultations, follow-ups, and internal meetings need different hours or durations.
- Open Meetings, then Booking Types.
- Create a booking type or open an existing one.
- In Availability For This Type, turn on Use a custom schedule for this booking type.
- Choose the timezone and set the available windows for each weekday. Use the plus control to add split windows, such as morning and afternoon availability.
- Use Date Overrides to open or block a specific date without changing the weekly schedule.
- Save the booking type and keep it active so its live availability can appear on the booking page.
ORCHESTRIS combines the booking-type schedule with minimum notice, buffers, booking-window limits, existing bookings, and connected-calendar conflicts before showing a time to an invitee.
