How do meeting notes and action items work?
Meeting notes are intended to summarize calls, preserve decisions, and create action items that can be linked back to events, clients, or CRM records.
What notes should capture
- Call summary
- Important decisions
- Questions that still need answers
- Action items for staff
- Action items for the host or client
Editing notes
- Workspace admins and assigned staff should be able to edit meeting notes when the workflow allows it.
- Edit history should help show who changed notes and when.
Event linking
- When a meeting belongs to an event, the notes should be available from the event documents or related event area where the role has access.
- Hosts may be able to view the final shared notes when the workspace chooses to share them.
