What should I do if an event or timeline change does not save?

    Short answer

If an event, timeline card, question, note, or song does not save, pause before refreshing, click or tap out of the field once, then check whether the change appears on another view.

    Expected save behavior

    • Most ORCHESTRIS fields should blur-save when you click or tap out of the field.
    • The screen should not jump to the top or reload just because a field saved.
    • Card data should remain in place after refreshing.

    Quick checks

    • Click or tap outside the field once.
    • Wait a moment for any retry status to clear.
    • Refresh only after giving the save action time to finish.
    • Check the same event from the workspace admin side when a host or guest entry seems missing.

    What to report

    • Field type
    • Card name
    • Role
    • Event name
    • Exact value that disappeared
    • Whether the issue happened after pressing save, clicking out, dragging, or refreshing

    • Try opening the same card on desktop if available.

  • How do task readiness items differ from planning cards?

How do task readiness items differ from planning cards?

How do task readiness items differ from planning cards?

    Short answer

Readiness tasks track whether the event or workflow is operationally ready, while planning cards collect the details, answers, notes, and music requests for the event.

    Readiness tasks

    • Use readiness tasks for high-level checks such as agreement signed, payment received, timeline reviewed, staff assigned, or event ready.
    • Readiness should help identify whether something needs attention without creating a task for every single timeline card.

    Planning cards

    • Use planning cards for detailed event information like must-play songs, ceremony details, vendor notes, guest requests, and timeline prompts.
    • Planning cards should stay editable according to event status and card lock rules.

    How they work together

    1. Incomplete planning details can affect event readiness, but they should not overwhelm the readiness view with too many small tasks.

  • How do I edit an event timeline?

How do I edit an event timeline?

How do I edit an event timeline?

    Short answer

Event timelines are built from sections and cards. Workspace admins can customize the event timeline after it is created without changing the original saved template.

    Timeline sections

    • Sections act like headers for a part of the event day and can include a section start time.
    • Use sections to separate ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, formalities, or any other planning phase.

    Timeline cards

    • Cards hold the actual planning prompts, notes, song requests, questions, and guest visibility settings.
    • Cards can be customized per event after a template is applied.

    Locked cards

    • If a workspace admin locks a card, hosts and guests can view only the allowed information and cannot change the locked content.
